Ann Arbor City Council Voting Chart for the Meeting of June 18, 2024

Here’s the agenda.

There were 28 items on the consent agenda. CA-5 was pulled for Jennifer Hall of the Housing Commission to explain the changes proposed to the Affordable Housing Fund. All consent agenda items were approved unanimously.

There were three public hearings on small township annexations. DB-1, 2, and 3 were the corresponding council actions, approved unanimously. Only one person spoke, and it was to ask why the city is annexing 444 Huntington Place.

C-1 is a modification to the SouthTown conditional zoning to allow for a renewable natural gas fuel cell to help provide electricity to the site if DTE fails. Dr. Stults from the Office of Sustainability and Innovations gave a short presentation and voiced support for this modification. After some discussion, it was approved unanimously.

DC-1 and DC-2 are appointments to the Environmental Commission and the Local Development Finance Authority, respectively. They were approved unanimously.

DC-3 is a liquor license for Alo’s at 221 W. Liberty. This is the old Pizza Pino/Aroma space. Alo’s is a project by Max Sussman of Pizza Replicator fame. It passed unanimously.

DC-4 is a resolution to study a reparations program that would remediate historical injustices and discrimination flowing from the practice of slavery in the United States. It passed unanimously.
